1. The most visited: It is the most reliable and versatile holiday destination in Almeria, so it's no surprise that it receives most of the province's tourism.

2. Ideal for golfers: For golf lovers, this is one of the most desirable tourist destinations because it has several five-star hotels and one of the most important golf courses in the province: the Playa Serena Golf Club. In addition, Roquetas de Mar has two marinas: Roquetas and Aguadulce.

3. Excellent cultural offerings: In addition to the hundreds of sports activities, Roquetas de Mar has a great cultural environment that has in its centre the Auditorium Theatre. Other historical and emblematic sites include the School of Music, Dance and Theatre and the Santa Ana Castle, which over time, has become a museum with an exhibition hall.
 
 
4. Punta Entinas-Sabinar: This Natural Park of almost 2,000 hectares is formed by a set of dunes very close to the Mediterranean coast. The most common species of plant here is the “sabinas suaves”. 7. Easter: This is one of the most important celebrations of the municipality of Roquetas de Mar. So much so, that three “cofradías” participate and many annual visitors come for the event.
