Cabo de Gata Kayak specializes in active tourism and provides activities in the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park, with kayaks and guided boat routes. With us, you can discover the immense heritage of this paradisiacal Mediterranean landscape of unparalleled beauty due to its impressive seabed and the quality of its waters.
All routes are through areas of maximum protection of marine reserves where fishing, anchoring, and motor boat speeds are not allowed. Deep diving is also prohibited, so the place has peaceful and spectacular scenery, so that visitors will be able to enjoy snorkelling while contemplating the fauna and flora among the volcanic formations of the Natural Park.
Depending on the direction of the wind, in summer you can enjoy canoe routes and visit La Fabriquilla, the Sirens Reef, which is a virgin cove of volcanic reefs, as well as Los Escullos, La Loma Pelada and Las Negras. On some routes you can see the beauty of the seabed and discover the nooks and crannies of these natural environments, with special discounts for families and groups.
Once the beach season is over, you can kayak on the routes from San Jose to Tomate Cove and Agua Amarga to Plomo Cove and the Punta de Media Naranja, and contemplate one of the most important marine landscapes in the Mediterranean: the Oceanic Posidonia. We offer boat trips throughout the year from La Fabriquilla to Barronal Cove and from Isleta del Moro to San Jose and Las Negras. For more information, visit the website: cabodegataaventura.com
Our routes are supervised with maximum security; providing a support boat that accompanies all visits. We provide a short course covering basic maneuvers, and in addition, we provide customers with the necessary equipment to carry out the activity, including life jackets and refreshments.
