Old Chimney (Garrucha)

It is popularly known as the Calvary. It is a pyramidal shaped chimney and is 72 feet high, built at the end of the 19th century to extract the fumes of the old mineral foundries in the municipality.

Currently, since the restoration of the chimney and improvements to the surroundings and access ways, you can enjoy a magnificent viewpoint from where to contemplate the wonderful views of Garrucha from the highest point of the town.

The chimney has served for years as a reference for the fishermen of Garrucha, who use it as a guide to positioning themselves in the best places to fish.
