Breakfast is the most important meal of the day - and probably the meal that we most neglect. Unlike Anglo-Saxon countries, where breakfast is the biggest meal of the day, in Spain we barely have coffee.
They say that a good breakfast includes slow-absorbing carbohydrates, i.e., whole grains, fibre in the form of fruits and proteins, and slices of ham or turkey. In addition, a breakfast table should include nuts (for their omega 3 content) and some dairy.
