Roquetas de Mar occupies 16 kilometers of the Almeria coastline, of which 15 kilometers are magnificent beaches with clean and transparent waters. There are beaches of high environmental quality with all the necessary amenities to enjoy the best vacations. The water temperature in Roquetas de Mar guarantees a longer bathing season than in other geographical locations.
   

Cerrillos Beach

Here you will find a virgin beach within the protected Punta Entinas-Sabinar Natural Park. This beach reaches up to the municipality of El Ejido, where it is known by the same name. A part of this beach is frequented by naturists who practice nudism, although the beach is not officially declared as a nudist designated area.

It is located in the old saltworks of San Rafael, which are now abandoned. It occupies part of the residential neighborhood built in the area of the Roquetas de Mar Auditorium and the Shopping Center. It is a quiet beach where the wind blows strongly; making it ideal for practising water sports that are enhanced by the wind.

Los Bajos Beach (also known as Los Rompillos Beach) is a windy beach, devoid of buildings or infrastructure, which is accessed by a dirt road that joins Roquetas de Mar and Aguadulce. The Barrier Reef of Posidonia which is located here is designated as a Natural Monument.
