Benahadux

Virgin of the Sea. It is celebrated during the month of August (variable date).
Virgin of the Head. Local festivities of the town. They are celebrated during the month of September (variable date).
Gador
Saint Anton. It is celebrated on January 17. In this popular celebration the neighbors "burn the beards to Saint Anton" in the bonfires.
Saint Sebastian. It is celebrated on January 20. There is a mass, a procession, a festival and a day at the “Merendero de Zorracana”, where the traditional “migas” are prepared.
The “Candelaria”. It is celebrated on February 2. A mass is held where the children born in that year are presented to the Virgin which is processed in the surroundings of the church.
Carnival. It is celebrated in February (variable date).
Fat Thursday. It is celebrated on the Thursday before Ash Wednesday. There is a meal in the countryside with all the neighbors, in the place known as “Las Chimeneicas”.
Holy Week. It is celebrated in March-April (variable date).
Privilege Day. It is celebrated on April 15. The administrative independence of the town over Almeria city is celebrated, which took place more than 200 years ago. A commemorative institutional act is celebrated.
May Crosses. It is celebrated on May 3. A festival is held at the Monument of the Cross, which is adorned with flowers for the occasion.
Saint Anthony. It is celebrated during the weekend closest to June 13.
Boy of Remedy. It is celebrated during the second weekend of September (variable date). A Mass is celebrated in honor of the Niño del Remedio and his image is processed to the neighborhood that bears his name.
Virgin of the Rosary. Local festivities of the town. They are celebrated during the second weekend of October (variable date).
Immaculate Conception's Day. It is celebrated on December 8. There is a floral offering and a mass in honor of the Virgin.
