Alpujarra, land of grasses, from the Arabic “Busherat” (al-bugscharra), is an Andalusian territory located between Almeria and Granada. Nature and history lovers will enjoy its routes and trails, which reveal why this region has been the inspiration for so many books and stories.
If we start with an easy but culturally interesting route, we can complete some of the urban routes on foot, taking in the most valuable cultural heritage sites in the area. Most of these routes are just over one kilometer in length, so they are not very difficult.
