It is the old site of the Hispano-Muslim city known as Bayra, founded by the Arabs and reconquered by the Catholic Monarchs in 1488.
On its viewpoint, at 148 meters high, you will see panoramic views of the coast and the interior of the valley. Discover the remains of the castle and the wall built by Muslims. It was declared Asset of Cultural Interest in 2004 by the Andalusian Government.
