1. The Pulpi Geode.
This treasure of geology has become, on its own merits, a true world find thanks to gypsum crystals of dimensions and perfection unique in the world.
The Giant Geode of Pulpi is the second largest in the world, but it has the particularity of being fully visitable, while the largest, which is in Mexico, cannot be visited.

2. Los Cocedores Beach. This municipality enjoys 10 km of coastline that includes 12 beaches, making it an excellent sun and beach tourist destination thanks to its wide variety of beaches and magical corners.
Los
Cocedores Beach is an excellent choice as a family destination in summer, thanks to its shallow waters and fine sand.
3. Festivals. Pulpi’s festivals are an ideal time to visit this beautiful town. Carnival is celebrated in February and Holy Week between March and April, as well as other renowned festivities, such as the day of the “vieja”.
The day of the “vieja” is celebrated on the first Thursday of Lent. This is a day to eat in the country with the family. Among the main patron saint festivities, the day of Saint Michael the Archangel stands out, on September 29.
4. Pulpi Scenic Space.
It is an impressive cultural infrastructure that has more than 2,200 m². The
Pulpi Scenic Space is the authentic cultural epicenter, not only of Pulpi, but of all the surrounding towns.
Inside, in addition to its beautiful and functional theater, its “Pedro Antonio Painter Room” stands out, with original works by this famous painter from Pulpi; and its "Black Room", with an impressive display of luminescent minerals from different parts of the world.
5. Solar Watch. This ornamental structure is extremely curious and is located in the centre of Amnesty Square. The
Pulpi sundial is in the heart of the town and is the highest in Andalusia, at 7.7 meters. This work of art, installed in 2006, was designed by Lorenzo Lopez Ascencio.
6. Las Palmeras Beach. If you are looking to get away from it all in a paradisiacal landscape,
Las Palmeras Beach in Pulpi is located away from urban areas, which makes it your best option, with impressive cliffs and a set of palm trees.
Enjoy one of the best beaches with crystal clear water in Pulpi and spend a few days of total relaxation in this idyllic setting.
7. Castle of San Juan de los Terreros.
During the second half of the 18th century, this defensive structure was built to avoid the attacks of the Maghreb pirates.
Unfortunately, the tower of this castle was demolished, but even today you can visit this incredible monument, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest.

Castle of San Juan de los Terreros is free and inside you can enjoy different information rooms.
8. El Apartadero Viewpoint. One of the best reasons to visit Pulpi is its incredible landscapes. If you want to see them from a privileged point, you will want to visit the El Apartadero Viewpoint.
It is located in the well-known Puerto de los Peines, between the Cerro de los Pinos and the Sierra del Aguilon.
9. Negra Island. This island has been declared a natural monument and a ZEPA zone.
Negra Island is of volcanic origin and is extremely attractive for diving. If you are looking for a place to practice paddle surfing or kayaking, you will not find a better location.
10. Gastronomy. In this municipality, you can enjoy rich gastronomy with exquisite dishes such as “ajo colorao”, crumbs with sprinkles, and rice with beans.
You will also find homemade hams and sausages, as well as the typical pastries found in lard cakes with “chicharrones”, “hornazos”, and the famous “brazo gitano”.
